Dear patient, the protection of your personal data is important to me. Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO), I am obligated to inform you how my practice collects, stores or forwards data. The information also informs you of what rights you have in terms of data protection.

  2. PURPOSE OF DATA PROCESSING

    In order for me to fulfill the treatment contract between you and I, I am required to process some of your data. No data is stored on this website. If you come to my practice and decide to enter a treatment contract, your personal information, especially your health data, will be stored by me. Typical health data include your medical history, diagnoses, therapy suggestions and assessment. For all purposes, other doctors or psychotherapists you are seeking treatment with can also provide me with data. The collection of health data is a prerequisite for your treatment. If you object to providing me with the necessary information, treatment cannot be provided.
  3.  DATA RECIPIENTS

    I will only transfer your personal data to third parties if this is permitted by law or if you have given me your written consent. The recipients of your personal data may be, other physicians/psychotherapists, your health insurance, medical associations and private medical clearing offices. The transmission of any data takes place predominantly for the purpose of receiving payment for rendered services, for clarification of medical inquiries and/or due to questions from your insurance. Very seldomly does the transmission of data to other authorized recipients take place, and is only permissible when written consent has been obtained prior to any release of information.
  4. STORING YOUR DATA

    I will only store your personal data for as long as necessary during the time of treatment. Due to legal requirements, I am obligated to keep your data for at least 10 years after treatment has been completed.
  5. YOUR RIGHTS

    You have the right to receive information about any stored personal data concerning you. You can also request the correction of incorrect data. In addition, under certain conditions, you have the right to delete data, the right to restrict data processing and the right to data portability. The further processing of your data is based on legal regulations which I do not need your consent for. If you object, you have the right to revoke your consent for future processing. You also have the right to complain to the data protection supervisory authority if you believe that the processing of your personal data is unlawful.
